Old Toy Trains

Old toy trains and tinplate collecting is a special passion for Brian and Wendy, they are members of the TCA, TTOS, and other clubs. They have their own wonderful collection of early toy trains from around the world which from time to time they display pieces of in the store. One section of the O gauge area is devoted to early toy trains for sale by such classic train makers of yesteryear as Lionel, Marx, American Flyer, Hornby, and others.

There is also a good selection of toy train collector books and price guides, and Brian and Wendy are always on the lookout to purchase old trains either for the store or their own collection.

What’s new this week

Updated November 25, 2024. We have lots of new goodies arriving for Christmas, but …… thanks to the postal strike they are sitting somewhere! The only new item we have at this time are the new Walthers CPR coil cars in HO. So fingers crossed sane heads will prevail and Christmas will be OK after all. Meanwhile we still have lots of stock in all scales as well as books, DVD’s, railway artifacts, and more. So there is something in the store for everyone, don’t worry. Christmas will get here, you can tell by the snow that’s coming down here today! .
